I'm working on experimenting with artificial light. I've been visiting interesting places around Los Angeles, and trying to experiment with different types of indoor and outdoor lighting. I'm getting a lot of interesting effects. I made this image while I was sitting inside the lobby at the Beverly Hills Hotel. The combination of low ambient light made the effect almost dream-like.
The other evening, we stopped at the original Farmer's Marketing in Hollywood and I made this image of a glass of wine I was sipping. The light was cast from an outdoor floodlight, but the effect on the glass was wonderful.
